What is Surrogacy?

Surrogacy is a family-building journey in which a woman, called a surrogate or gestational carrier, carries and gives birth to a baby for intended parents who are unable to do so on their own.

Through IVF, an embryo created using the intended parents’ or donors’ egg and sperm is transferred to the surrogate, who has no genetic connection to the baby. Surrogacy makes it possible for intended parents to grow their family with compassion, trust, and support.

We've been there. We know what it's like to walk this journey as both a surrogate and an intended parent. One of our founders has been a surrogate twice, and the other has been an intended parent twice. That first-hand experience on both sides of the process gives us deep understanding, empathy, and insight into every step of the surrogacy journey.

The experience was so meaningful, she knew she wanted nothing more than to help other families with the same life-changing process. Robin is passionate about creating thoughtful, supportive matches between intended parents and surrogates.

When Elias and his wife couldn't have children of their own, they embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever. Through the process of surrogacy, they now have two children. Elias became an expert in the process, including for international parents. Now he is on a mission to help other families overcome obstacles and realize thier dream of becoming parents.
